Winter Fun at Centennial Lakes!

We are so fortunate to be so close to Centennial Lakes to enjoy all they offer every season! This winter hop across the street and enjoy ice skating, fireplaces and sledding!

Ice Skating

Centennial Lakes Park features a 10-acre lake that is groomed daily during the winter for ice skating. Spread out over three main ponds connected by narrow, meandering canals, the rink gives skaters a unique skating experience reminiscent of a Currier and Ives setting from bygone days.

Amenities

Visitors can skate across 10 acres of carefully maintained ice or take a spin on one of the Park's Norwegian ice sleds. Afterwards, guests can relax by one of the Hughes Pavilion's three fireplaces while sipping a cup of hot chocolate from the concession stand. For the convenience of Park visitors, Centennial Lakes rents figure and hockey skates for children and adults.

Warming House

Complementing the rink is a cozy, rink-side warming house, complete with:

Skate & Sled Rentals

Skate rental is available for $6 per pair, with sizes ranging from children's Size 8 up to adult size 13. Ice sleds may also be rented for $8 per hour. A photo identification must be given as a deposit for all rentals. There is no admission charge for skating.

Hours of Operation

Concessions stand and skate rental hours are 4 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Noon to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays and most school holidays. Please note that although concessions and rentals do not open until 4 p.m. on weekdays, the skating rink does open at noon to accommodate those with their own skates.
